With the continued growth of dual language immersion in Delaware, there openings in three districts to support dual language immersion programs. The Spanish Dual Language Immersion Specialist position is a full-time 11-month position with both district and state-level work. Major responsibilities include working with districts to create and implement DLI Support Plans and working with administrators to build their capacity to support their DLI programs. The DLE specialist will also provide classroom coaching as it aligns to the district plan and collaborate with the Dual Language Immersion team at the Delaware Department of Education to support implementation of high-quality Spanish immersion curriculum and professional learning.
