Immersion Teaching Vacancies (K-8 Spanish, Chinese, Greek)

Several school districts across Delaware have immediate openings for Spanish, Chinese, and Greek immersion teachers for the 2023-24 school year.  These schools are part of the Delaware Dual Language Immersion network and offer immersion as a strand within their buildings.

Program details include:

Elementary K-5: 50/50 instructional model in which students learn language arts, math, and science in the partner language (Spanish, Chinese, Greek) for half of each school day
Middle School 6-8: Immersion continuation model where students learn immersion language and social studies for two classes each school day
Well-developed Spanish, Chinese, and Greek language arts/literacy curriculum and content area materials
Support of a district coordinator and/or dual language immersion specialist
Ongoing immersion-specific professional learning provided by the Delaware Department of Education
