Children’s Lighthouse of Forney – Dual language Program

Children's Lighthouse of Forney wants to help your child benefit from understanding multiple languages with our school's curriculum.

Starting this Fall (08/14/23) we are launching our expanded Private Kindergarten program, an alternative for those looking for a Private School experience with afterschool care  - this will be an advanced curriculum that teaches Spanish and Sign Language.

Here at Children's Lighthouse of Forney we pride ourselves in creating environments in which our students can express themselves and be heard. With steady exposure to multiple languages such as English, American Sign Language (ASL), and Spanish, children will become more confident and understanding of their own culture as well as others.

Multilingual children have shown increased mental flexibility, better focus, and a greater ability to problem solve than children who are exposed to only one language. But few early childhood educators are fluent in more than one language.
